Countdown is a freeware utility that will countdown to a specified date and time and display the status of the countdown in a window. Usefull for a continous reminder of how many days (hours, minutes) until Christmas, Anniversary, Wedding, Retirement, what-have-you. To enter an event simply launch the program and select Edit Event... from the Edit menu, the dialog's pretty self-explainatory. Countdown, currently, can only track one event, and it keeps this imformation in a preferences file in the preferences folder. After an event is defined it stays defined, until you change it. This means you can put Countdown in your Startup Items folder and have a constant reminder for that important event.
